Sandra's TMJ No More can be more accurately described as a "TMJ Bible." It is quite simply one of the most comprehensive and precise guides to TMJ and jaw clenching freedom you will ever read. What makes it so much different than other TMJ publications on the market?

Well first of all, it's not just a "TMJ relief" program, it's a TMJ cure program. TMJ No More shows you exactly why you should fix the internal problem that's causing your TMJ, not just masking the symptoms and then goes on to show you exactly how to do it. Secondly, what makes TMJ No More different is the amount of attention that is paid to each and every element required to achieve permanent freedom from TMJ. TMJ No More not only thoroughly discusses the lies and fallacies surrounding a very confusing subject, it is simply the most detailed book about TMJ, Bruxism and holistic health ever written.

The TMJ No More book is quite extensive (150 pages of rock solid content) which focuses on 100% natural TMJ treatment. That means there aren't recommendations for harsh prescription drugs with nasty side effects. In TMJ No More core formula section (The 3 step system) - Nothing is held back. In this section, Sandra gives a detailed overview of each step, and then dives into the specifics in a perfect chronological order. There are also outstanding charts and checklists which make it very easy to know where you are at in the program and follow it.

The TMJ No More program is not a quick fix cure but a complete holistic solution aimed at eliminating the root cause of TMJ (regardless of the severity) and ensure you will permanently be TMJ-free, it does take work and persistence to complete. "The dictionary is the only place success comes before work" says Sandra, as she emphasizes the "no quick fix" philosophy behind the entire book.

TMJ Remedy Advice

The Temporomandibular Joint, also known as the TMJ, is situated at the sides of the head where the upper and lower jaws meet, directly in front of the ears. The TMJ is the part of the jaw that makes opening and closing your mouth, as well as eating, speaking and singing possible. Because these activities are an essential part of our every day lives, the TMJ is one of the most commonly used body joints. It is no surprise, then, that problems with this joint, including swelling or muscle tension, can cause a big problem. Headaches, ear pain, neck stiffness and locked jaw are some of the things that TMJ problems can lead to.
TMJ syndrome is a serious, and often painful condition. Luckily, TMJ disorder often responds to a number of home treatments which can help the sufferer lessen or eliminate the discomfort caused by problems with this joint. To reduce pain, relax tense muscles, and decrease muscle spasms, hold a hot or cold pad to the painful or tense area. Different people will respond differently to treatments so if a cold compress does not provide relief, try a warmer one. Face muscles and jaw joints can also be relaxed by massaging the affected areas and by regular exercise. Massaging the facial muscles increases blood flow and reduces pain; daily exercise releases endorphins, the body's natural pain relievers, into the bloodstream, resulting in decreased TMJ pain and headaches.
TMJ sufferers sometimes find relief by taking a hot bath. This also helps with the general muscle tension caused by pain in the jaw. Take care not to strain the jaw. Yawn gently, and avoid chewing gum or other foods that might overwork the stressed joint. Because the TMJ is one of the most regularly used joints in the body, try these simple measures to reduce the amount of work it has to do. During meal times, it may help to cut the food into smaller pieces so they will be easier to chew. Avoid crunchy, chewy or hard food such as hard candy or taffy so give your jaw a rest. Open your mouth as little as possible when you yawn. Exercises for the lower jaw can help to strengthen the jaw and increase the range of motion. Do these several times daily. In general, perform these exercises for no more than five minutes at a time. Headaches often occur as a result of dehydration, so make sure you get plenty of water and non-caffeinated beverages during the day.
According to scientific research, one of the leading causes of headaches and migraines is stress, which can also result in painful temporomadibular joints. When the body is under stress, the muscles tense and contract, leading to headaches and stiff jaws. Problems with the TMJ are made worse as a result of teeth clenching under stress or teeth grinding at night.
Practicing Yoga, meditation techniques and deep breathing exercises can help stop the stress that causes the muscle tension that often leads to TMJ disorder. Avoid consuming caffeine by limiting your intake of coffee, tea and hot chocolate. While your morning cup of java may wake you up, the stimulating effects of caffeine can stress the body, resulting in more headaches and painful TMJ.
Pay attention to your posture, what position you are in when you sleep and how you feel when you sit and eat. Avoid stress on your jaws and the headaches it causes by sleeping on your back. Remember to breathe while you are chewing, chew slowly and sit with your back straight while eating. Take your time and breath deeply to ensure that your body has enough oxygen to perform its needed functions well and with a clear focus.
